From small, intimate gatherings to larger tour groups, we have the space, flexibility, and menu options to ensure everyone has a memorable meal. Our restaurant area has a seating capacity of 60 with extra sectioned Function Areas that can be utilised.

Our range of set menus makes planning your group's meal simple and stress-free. Choose from a selection of 2- or 3-course meals, each carefully crafted to offer a variety of options that cater to diverse tastes. Whether your group prefers hearty mains or light, seasonal fare, we ensure that each dish is made with high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients.
For groups looking for a more casual dining experience, we also offer a tempting selection of finger food platters, perfect for a laid-back lunch or informal dinner. Whatever your group's preference, we are confident that our set menus will deliver a delicious and satisfying dining experience.
Please note that dinner bookings are unavailable from 26th December to 5th January and times we can accept your group in the evening may be limited due to prior bookings.

Beverage Options
The Fat Duck has a range of tap & bottled beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. We can be flexible and provide either a cash bar or operate a bar tab on your behalf. You are welcome to pre-select wines or other alcoholic beverages you would like served on a bar tab.
Music
Our standard playlist consists of a pub/chart/pop music mix. We can accommodate you if you would like your own playlist, or can assist you to arrange live music for your function.
Parking
We have a limited amount of parking available beside The Fat Duck. There is a large carpark located directly behind the restaurant at the Fiordland Events Centre. We can also arrange taxi transfers if needed, advance notice may be required for large groups of people.
