Wauw wat een geweldig restaurant. Wij hadden niet gereserveerd maar er kwam heel snel een oplossing door een zeer vriendelijke dame die ons ontving. Aan tafel vlot geholpen omdanks dat het erg druk was. Wij hadden fish amd chips en cheese burger. Beiden warwn echt fantastisch. De fish smaalkte echt naar fish en dat is ergens anders nog wel eens anders helaas. Deze was heerlijk mer voldoende friet en koolsla. De burger was ook heerlijk... voldoende belegd en de in bierbeslag gebakken uienringen erbij waren ook erg lekker. De prijs was best goed misschien iets duurder dan ergens anders maar dar was het ook waars. Wij zijn touristen op doorreis anders waren we zeker teryg gekomen👍

We had dinner at the Fat Duck during one of our nights in Te Anau. Highly recommend to go here, though reservations in advance are advised because it can become quite busy. Service was very friendly, a lot of young people are working in this restaurant, which is super fun in my opinion. Food was great, maybe the pumpkin gnocchi can be have a bit of a pump up with some spice or extra flavor, but that's very subjective. The atmosphere was nice, but I recommend to place the empty bottles and glasses somewhere else so guests don't have the view on them when having dinner. Hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Restaurant. Die Lammschulter und die Gnocchis als Hauptspeisen waren sehr gut. Auch die Desserts sind der Hammer. Herausragend hat den Abend der ganz tolle Service von Chai gemacht. Es machte wirklich Spaß, von ihr beraten und bedient zu werden. Eine Schande, dass das Restaurant derzeit Montag und Dienstag Ruhetag hat. So werden wir erst im nächsten Leben wieder vorbeikommen können. 😉
